Gold-Filled
What it is: A generous layer of real gold (at least 5% of its weight) permanently bonded to a base metal. It’s built for lasting durability.

Quick Care: Wipe gently with a soft cloth. While highly water-resistant, it’s best to avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals or chlorinated water to maintain its shine.
18K Gold Plated (3 Micrometers)
What it is: A substantial, beautiful layer of 18-karat gold applied to a durable base metal – much thicker than standard plating. According to European legislation, only a plated jewel with at least 3 micrometers of gold thickness is considered authentic gold-plated jewelry. If well maintained, the lifespan of a 3-micrometer gold-plated jewel varies between 5 and 10 years.
