Aurina grew out of my years in the beauty industry and my lifelong love for aesthetics. Beauty has always been a part of my world — both professionally and personally. I’ve always believed that every woman is naturally beautiful, and that the right details can gently highlight her individuality. For some it’s makeup, for others styling, and for many of us — jewelry. It’s a small way of expressing who we are without saying anything at all.

When I decided to create Aurina, I approached everything as a customer first. I’ve always had sensitive skin, and cheap alloys were uncomfortable for me — irritation, swelling, pain. I knew I wanted jewelry that was not only beautiful, but also truly comfortable and safe to wear every day. That became the foundation of the brand.

I started searching for factories and knew right away that I wanted European production. Ethical conditions, transparency, and high standards were non-negotiable for me. I ordered many samples from different manufacturers and wore every piece myself — daily, for months. I wanted to see how each material behaved: how the color held up, how the coating reacted to everyday life, and how the jewelry felt on the skin. Only the pieces that remained beautiful, comfortable, and durable became part of Aurina.

A big part of Aurina’s quality comes from the materials I chose.

For gold pieces, I use 18k gold, 3 microns — a very thick layer of real gold. It’s much more substantial than regular gold-plated jewelry, which usually has only a thin surface layer that fades quickly. This thickness gives Aurina pieces a refined, elegant look and helps them keep their color longer, without the overly bright tone that cheaper plating often has.

For silver pieces, I use rhodium plating — a precious metal known for its durability. Rhodium protects the silver, keeps it from darkening, adds resistance to scratches, and gives it a beautiful, clean shine. This makes the jewelry more long-lasting and keeps it looking fresh with time.

To me, jewelry is a part of self-expression. Some days you feel soft and delicate, choosing tiny hoops or a subtle pendant. Other days you want bold rings, strong shapes, something that shows a different side of you. Jewelry speaks for us — it reflects our mood, our energy, our presence. I wanted Aurina to give women that freedom: to express themselves gently, confidently, and naturally.
